What this site provides
toolswitchhub publishes two things: a calculator that estimates the cost of switching between software tools, and written analysis of software products and the regulation affecting them. Both are informational. Neither is a professional service, and using the site does not create any advisory, fiduciary, or client relationship between you and us.
The calculator is an estimate, not a quote
The calculator projects costs from figures you supply, using assumptions you choose about price increases and seat growth. Its output is only as good as those inputs, and it necessarily simplifies: it does not account for tax, currency movement, negotiated discounts, phased rollouts, productivity loss during transition, integration rebuild costs, or the many other factors that affect a real migration budget. A projected break-even month is a modelled estimate, not a forecast.
Treat the result as a starting point for your own analysis, not as a procurement recommendation or a financial projection. We make no representation that acting on it will produce any particular outcome, and we are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of it.
Articles are analysis, not advice
Our articles discuss corporate events, product changes, litigation, and legislation. They are journalism and commentary based on publicly available sources. They are not legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, or a compliance opinion, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your specific situation.
Coverage of laws and regulations reflects our understanding at the time of writing. Statutes are amended, enforcement guidance shifts, and cases are decided. Do not rely on anything here as a current statement of the law without checking the primary source.
Accuracy and corrections
We cite sources and check figures at the time of publication. We do not warrant that content is complete, current, or error-free — particularly for figures like valuations, user counts, and revenue, which are frequently estimates and change over time.
If you find something wrong or out of date, email support@toolswitchhub.com with the source you're relying on and we'll review it. Where we correct a substantive error, we update the article and note the change.
Intellectual property
The articles, calculator, charts, design, and code on this site are our copyright, except where a third party is credited. You may quote short extracts for commentary, criticism, review, or news reporting, provided you attribute toolswitchhub and link to the original page. Republishing full articles, or reproducing substantial parts of them, requires our written permission.
Product names, company names, and trademarks referred to on this site belong to their respective owners. Their use here is descriptive and does not imply affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from those companies.
Acceptable use

- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its hosting

Third-party links
We link to external sources, including primary documents, news reporting, and vendor websites. We don't control those sites, aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Follow them at your own discretion.
Advertising and commercial relationships
This site may display advertising served by third parties, and some articles may contain affiliate links that earn us a commission if you make a purchase. This never costs you more.
Two commitments about that. First, commercial relationships do not influence editorial judgment; we publish critical analysis of products regardless of whether a commercial relationship exists. Second, articles covering AI companion products carry no affiliate links of any kind — that category is covered under a stricter policy set out in our editorial policy. Where affiliate links do appear, they are disclosed on the page.
No warranty
The site and everything on it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Changes
We may revise these terms as the site develops. The version published here is the one that applies, and the "last updated" date shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the unenforceable provision applies to the maximum extent permitted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
